Doesn't this look like McGruff the Crime Dog?

Getting fired is something that most of use go through during our quest to move from having a job to having a career.  While I have never been fired, I have seen the writing on the wall and quit a job or two to avoid the stigma of getting fired.  Getting fired is embarrassing.

Getting fired on your day off is even worse.

The Cleveland Browns are a franchise in total disarray at the moment.  I feel bad for the franchise, because they always seem to be stuck with the worst luck possible.  In their long, and storied history they have championships, but once Jim Brown decided to retire early for a career in Hollywood, they have been cursed.

You have the The Drive

The Drive refers to an offensive series in the fourth quarter of the AFC Championship Game played on January 11, 1987, between the Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns. Broncos quarterback John Elway, in a span of 5 minutes and 2 seconds, led his team 98 yards to tie the game with 37 seconds left in regulation. Denver won the game in overtime with a field goal, 23-20.

Then you have the Fumble, which happened the next year AND was against the same team…

The Fumble refers to a specific incident in the AFC Championship Game between the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos on January 17, 1988 at Mile High Stadium. With 1:12 left in the game, running back Earnest Byner appeared to be on his way to score the game-tying touchdown, but lost a fumble at the 3-yard line.

Then Browns fans suffered, as their team was ripped away from them by greedy ownership.

On November 6, 1995, with the team sitting at 3-4, Modell announced that he had signed a deal to relocate the Browns to Baltimore, Maryland in 1996 – a move which would return the NFL to Baltimore for the first time since the Baltimore Colts relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana after the 1983 season. The very next day, on November 7, Cleveland voters overwhelmingly approved the aforementioned tax issue to remodel Cleveland Stadium.

After extensive talks between the NFL, the Browns and officials of the two cities, Cleveland accepted a legal settlement that would keep the Browns legacy in Cleveland. In February 1996, the NFL announced that the Browns would be ‘deactivated’ for three years, and that a new stadium would be built for a new Browns team, as either an expansion team or a team moved from another city, that would begin play in 1999. Modell would in turn be granted a new franchise (the 31st NFL franchise), for Baltimore, retaining the current contracts of players and personnel. There would be a reactivated team for Cleveland, where the Browns’ name, colors, history, records, awards and archives would remain in Cleveland. The only other current NFL team to suspend operations without merging with another was Cleveland’s previous NFL team, the Rams, during the 1943 season.[1]

So, I feel your pain. As a raider fan, I know the feeling of having another city enjoy the fruits of your labor.  Heck, you even have the Dawg Pound, similar to the Black Hole.

Not your smartest move, Ochocinco....

But, even after all that, you have to remove your GM with the Sheriff? NFL.com is reporting this story, as well as others….

According to multiple published reports, Cleveland Browns GM George Kokinis was escorted out of the team’s facility Monday.

This is Hipster J. getting escorted out by the police, not the GM, but funny nonetheless....

The Browns have yet to officially respond to any of Monday’s reports, but team director of public relations Neal Gulkis said late Monday, “I haven’t heard anything, I can’t confirm those reports.”

Even so, as news on the situation continues to surface, it is becoming apparent that Kokinis is likely on his way out in Cleveland.

NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi told NFL Total Access Monday that Kokinis will be fired, and that Kokinis is aware of the situation. According to Lombardi, Kokinis has not been involved in any of the team’s recent decisions and has been something of an outcast within the organization, with coach Eric Mangini making the front office decisions.

Browns play-by-play announcer Jim Donovan told NBC affiliate WKYC-TV3 in Cleveland that the Browns have already ”severed ties” with Kokinis.

Following Sunday’s 30-6 loss in Chicago, Browns owner Randy Lerner said he was “sick” about the state of his team, and that he would like to bring in a “strong, credible, serious leader” to help run his team, according to multiple published reports.

More on this story to follow.

Update: The team released a statement Monday night that Kokinis is “no longer actively involved” with the Browns organization.

Did you really have to have him escorted out of the building?  Did you think that he was going to steal the stapler like in Office Space?

Just like my Raiders, so have to comport yourself like professional if you want people to take you seriously.  That goes twice for my Raiders.  Good luck Browns….it starts with firing Mangini.

You know we went over the reasons why this is true here.  First, we brought you news of the death.  During the reporting of his death, we speculated correctly. (This is something that you never want to be right on) With his death, we tried to look towards something positive.  We told you that you can prevent his from happening by not buying your side pieces things, because they become accustomed to getting things.  When you pull back, they will be upset.  Now, if you are like Loso, then you can just throw it in the bag and not care.

But, it remains worth saying, due to the release of the cell phone records of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi.

One message that I hope doesn’t get lost is that the things that you say are not really protected once you die.  So all the dirt that you texted about, there are records of all that.  So, don’t think that you are getting away with something, because if you commit a crime, they are going to subpoena these records. USA Today reports the mayhem….

Nashville police have released more details about the murder-suicide of former Tennessee quarterback Steve McNair and his 20-year-old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, including some of their final text messages.

In the early morning of July 3, one day before their bodies were found, Kazemi sent a text message to McNair asking if he loved her.

“I’m gonna have all of u soon,” she said.

“Yes u will,” McNair replied.

See, here is the first mistake.  Don’t promise something that you have no intention of following through with.  Playing with someone’s emotions can have dangerous consequences.

The deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide, but the case file was withheld pending outcome of a related federal case involving the sale of the weapon used in the killings.

Click here to read the police summary report.
McNair and Kazemi were found July 4 at a downtown Nashville condo McNair rented.

The former Titan quarterback was shot four times, and Kazemi died from a single gunshot to the head. Neither had any defensive wounds, and police believe McNair was asleep.
Investigators concluded that Kazemi was drowning in debt and despondent over realizations that McNair was dating other women and wasn’t going to leave his wife for her, The Tennessean reports.

If you had kept it real in the first place, then the other women might not have been so stressful.  But, when you tell her that she is about to be elevated to QB#1 and in reality, you keep her on the practice squad, that can tear at a woman.

Early in the morning on July 3, she texted McNair, saying she might have a breakdown because she was so stressed. He responded, telling her everything was going to be fine.

“Baby I need to pay the cell phone bills n the hospital. can you transfer 2000 to my acc (sic)”, the text message said.

Then, nine minutes later, she said she might need to go to the hospital because she could hardly breathe.

A few hours later, she told McNair she wanted to pay some bills before she went to work because they were stressing her out.
He assured her he had someone transferring the money, the report says.

it really isnt that serious....just file for bankruptcy...or have someone steal the Caddy and get the insurance money...

it really isnt that serious....just file for bankruptcy...or have someone steal the Caddy and get the insurance money...

This is when it fully becomes a problem.  When she is equating her fiscal problems with the causes of health problems, then you have a situation that you need to deal with.  The sad fact of the matter is that the 10K or 20 that she owed was a drop in the bucket for McNair.  But, for normal people, that can seem like a drowning amount of money.

sasaD

The American Dream....to be drowning in debt and owning a bunch of crap....

But, for those of use living large, here is how to live larger

ESPN reports the level of despair that she was feeling…

Kazemi later texted McNair three times asking to be with him that night. He said he was having trouble getting his sons to sleep. But at that time, McNair was seen at a restaurant with friends. Kazemi texted she was going to his condo. He texted back at 12:38 a.m. that he was on his way and asked her to open the front door at 12:52 a.m. Kazemi told him at 1:14 a.m. it was open.

Don’t play with people emotions is the sad tale that this story tells.  That and not to have a side pivce or jump-off

Don’t people know that it’s wrong to speak ill of the dead?

By Kate Howard, The Tennessean

A property management company has filed a claim against former Titan Steve McNair’s estate for back rent on a West End apartment he began leasing in October.

McNair was the co-signer for a condo on Parthenon Avenue near Centennial Park, with his cousin, Raymond White, as the primary renter. But once the 12-month lease was finalized, the electricity was turned on in the name of a young woman, according to public records from Nashville Electric Service.

Mail and utility bills for the condo had been going to 26-year-old Adrianne Hobbs. Gianikas Property Management has asked McNair’s estate for $1,750 in rent, late fees and pet damages for the condo, which was vacated last month.

Rent was late in June and was never paid in July, according to court filings.

McNair was shot and killed July 4 in a condo off Second Avenue. Police have ruled that McNair was murdered by 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi, who then killed herself. The two had been dating, and police said Kazemi was distraught over catching McNair, who was married, with another woman.

Side piece Sahel Kazemi, who murdered McNair and took her own life...obviously during happier times...

Side piece Sahel Kazemi, who murdered McNair and took her own life...obviously during happier times...

Steve, Steve, Steve…if other people learn from this horrible tragedy, then while we would have lost a great leader (and not so great husband) but gained something from his death.  DON’T BUY YOUR SIDE PIECES ANYTHING!  This is where it started (that and keeping it in his pants) to go sideways for him.  had he just been clear that this was some late-night smash time, then she would not have gotten so clingy.  It is a lot easier to separate from that, then it is to make a commitment to someone by buying them things…

She told friends she had seen another woman leave the condo off Second Avenue and followed her home. That woman was not Hobbs, Metro police spokesman Don Aaron said.

“The person who I am aware of, who believes that she was followed by (Kazemi’s) Escalade, is a different individual and lives elsewhere,” Aaron said.

This sounds like it could have gotten worse.  If Sahel “Shooter” Kazemi KNEW OF this other person, I am glad that she didn’t shoot her up too.  Suicide after killing someone else is such the cowards way out…

A former employee at the property management company says McNair had been coming to the office each month and paying the $1,000-a-month rent personally for the Parthenon Avenue residence.

The electricity in Hobbs’ name was disconnected Aug. 7, according to records from the Nashville Electric Service. It is unclear how she knew McNair.

Before we go jumping to conclusions, what if the woman was the side piece of the cousin (or even better yet, what if she was the girlfriend?)  yeah, she would have come forward, but maybe all the notoriety scared her off.  Now, they have your name too…

“As far as we knew, McNair gave (White) the keys, and we thought (White) moved in,” said Stephanie Burch-McMahan, who managed the apartments until earlier this year. “It wasn’t until a couple months later, we discovered there’s no male person living in the apartment.”

Phone numbers for White have been disconnected, and he could not be reached for comment. A call to his attorney was not returned Tuesday.

‘We let it go’

Someone saw a woman walking a puppy in the pet-free condo, and the manager said she sent a letter to White. There appeared to be only women’s items in the apartment, Burch-McMahan said, and other residents of the apartment complex told management they’d seen only McNair and a blonde woman coming and going.

“If there had not been for (McNair’s) celebrity status, we would have called and said, ‘Who is this person living here?’ ” she said. “We knew if we confronted him about it, it would create a lot of awkwardness, so we let it go.”

That is what being famous gets you…a lot less questions.  Steve and others need to know that handling your business out in the open will get you caught up, even if some people are willing to hide it.  All these people thought that they were bulletproof….

Burch-McMahan, a fan of McNair, said she was at first disheartened at the circumstances of McNair’s death, but she considers him a kind and generous person and doesn’t want to judge him now.

“Maybe losing an icon like Steve means we are being asked to re-evaluate what we will accept and expect from relationships, and be conscious of the pain and destructiveness that infidelity causes,” she said.

Sound a lot like Joey, doesn’t it?

Hobbs could not be reached Tuesday. A reporter spoke with her in July at the West End condo, but she said she didn’t know McNair and she had no comment.

Her friend Valerie Skelton identified herself as White’s girlfriend and said she herself lived in the condo. She said she had moved in a few months before McNair’s death. Skelton also did not return a phone call or e-mail Tuesday.

Valerie on the left, Adrienne on the right

Valerie on the left, Adrienne on the right

Steve, please tell me (through a dream or however the dead contact the living) that you were not smashing either of these two women.  I am hoping that it really was your cousin, his girl and her friend…

Gary Rubenstein, the attorney representing Gianikas Property Management, said mail had been coming in Hobbs’ name, and Skelton applied to be added to the lease nine days after McNair’s death. Rubenstein wasn’t sure who was living there.

Because White was the primary lessee, the company intends to pursue payment from him. But they still filed a claim against McNair’s estate because there is only a limited amount of time to do so, Rubenstein said.

Sharks smell blood in the water.  You are going after the dead for your money?  Let the man rest.

He said he has been in touch with White’s attorney and any payment they get from White will be deducted from their claim against McNair.

Rose Palermo, who represents Mechelle McNair in the probate case, said she has no information about the claim and can’t comment. Steve McNair did not leave a will.

American Express also has filed a claim against his estate for $44,000, and Magee General Hospital in Mississippi has filed for about $287.

Crime case officially isn’t closed

Though Metro investigators ruled the deaths of McNair and Kazemi a murder-suicide on July 8, they have not officially closed the case or made the case file public. It’s unlikely they will do so until the conclusion of the federal case against the man who sold Kazemi the gun, Aaron said.

Adrian Gilliam Jr. has been charged with being a felon in possession of a handgun after the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms traced the gun that killed the pair back to him. He told Metro police he sold Kazemi the gun for $100.

“The Metro Police Department’s investigation is parallel with the investigation by the federal authorities,” Aaron said. “In fact our officers have been very much involved in the federal case as well as the murder-suicide investigation. As far as the very thick case file, I suspect that is going to be not made public until the federal matter is resolved.”

I still feel sorry for the poor sap who thought he was doing some woman a favor by getting here a gun for protection and not he is caught up too…

Vince,

All people want to hear about is your failures.  I want to big up you for your actions…It’s easy to get caught up in the day to day matters in your own personal life.  Vince, your personal life has been in the news too much.

Shirtless, sweaty with a bunch of dudes throwing back the bottle of Patron is not a good look Vince...

Lord knows you have problems.  Remember when people thought that you were suicidal?

Dont let the stress of life and work get to you....

Don't let the stress of life and work get to you....

It was just work….and you were eating wings.  Just because you don’t have your phone, people got spooked.  This became another story that people fed on.  You might even state that it is the curse of this…

At least you got paid for this.....

At least you got paid for this.....I have it for the 360 too...

But, like any normal black man, you persevered. You are still getting paid and the racist formerly known as Kerry Collins will either say something that we get him mangled, or will just get old.  You will be a starting QB in the league again, if not for the Titans, then another team.

People are not talking about Steve McNair anymore.  (except us) We use this tragic loss of life to get advice to others, including President Obama. They should talk about him more….he did a ton to help the communities that where he lived.  Once the story died and people moved on, there was still his family to think about.  They lost a father and a provider.

Vince, if only for a day, good job stepping in…

Thursday, September 17, 2009 Young surprises McNair’s sons

ESPN.com news services For one day at least, Vince Young stepped up to try to fill the void for the late Steve McNair’s two young sons, the Tennessean reported Thursday. Young surprised 11-year-old Trenton and 5-year-old Tyler on Wednesday by showing up at their house and taking them to their school’s “Dear Dads Breakfast” at a local restaurant.

Arenas Those are my boys. I wouldn’t say it was to pay anyone back; it was just out of love. Steve would do it for me. He pretty much did it for me when I was growing up. I have a history with the boys and I want to do anything I can. I am their big brother. ” – Vince Young

“Those are my boys,” Young told the Tennessean. “I wouldn’t say it was to pay anyone back; it was just out of love. Steve would do it for me. He pretty much did it for me when I was growing up. I have a history with the boys and I want to do anything I can. I am their big brother.” Julie Dilworth, admissions director at St. Paul Christian Academy, lauded Young’s actions. “It was a great, great gesture,” Dilworth told the Tennessean. “All the kids had been talking about the dads’ breakfast and [Trenton and Tyler] were wondering what was going to happen with them. “They were thrilled … the boys came to school with huge smiles on their faces.” Young had a close relationship with Steve McNair, even before the latter was drafted by the Titans four years ago. He attended McNair’s football camps when he was young. McNair was shot and killed July 4. Besides being there for McNair’s sons, Young gave other kids at the school jerseys and autographs. “It was a surprise, and just to see the excitement on their faces, it’s a great feeling,” Young told the Tennessean. “We had a good time eating pancakes. I had an omelet. “Overall they are doing cool, doing good. Just talking to their mom, I think they are going to be all right. I am always going to be here for them, always.” McNair also had two older teenage sons.

I see you Vince and I know it was out of love. The same love he showed you coming into the league.

Just like black actors, black QB’s have to stick together. Who will be the one to reach out to Nate Davis?

Toungue in, you are not Jordan...

Tongue in, you are not Jordan...

How are you going to clown with the police?  It seems like I said earlier, it’s all about the DUI arrest that led to the spiral…

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reveals the depths of her despair

Thursday, July 09, 2009

NASHVILLE —- Former NFL star Steve McNair was shot dead in his sleep last week by a 20-year-old girlfriend distraught about mounting financial problems and her belief that he was seeing someone else, police said Wednesday.

Sahel Kazemi “was spinning out of control” when she shot McNair four times as he dozed on a sofa early Saturday, then turned the gun on herself, police Chief Ronal Serpas said.

Interviews with friends revealed that she was making payments on two cars, her rent was doubling and she suspected the married McNair was having a second affair with another woman.

She told a friend on Friday that “my life is a ball of s—- and I should end it,” Serpas said.

I don’t want anyone to kill themselves, but why take someone else with you?  That is a twisted sense of Romeo and Juliet to think about.

Now, you have to put some blame on McNair too, but not for the reasons you think.  Of course, if the guy just kept it in his pants and cherished his vows, then this would have never happened.  But, lets move beyond that.  Let’s assume that the affair happened.  How could Steve have avoided this fate?

First, don’t be a cheapass.  Stacks would have soothed everything over.  Even if you are cheating on you side piece you are cheating with on your wife, you just had to take care of things.  Fully pay for the Escalade would have been one less thing she would have to worry about.  That could have been the boiling point. MyCar.com explains

Extra-cost options can quickly drive the Escalade’s $54,725 base price (including an $875 destination charge) higher. Key among them is a Climate Package with heated and cooled front and rear seats as well as a heated steering wheel; an Information Package with a touch-screen navigation system, a reversing camera, and adaptive headlights; power fold-and-tumble second-row seats; a rear seat DVD entertainment center; and an oversized power sunroof. Our test truck had all of them: the $2,995 22-inch wheels, the $2,495 Information Package, the $1,295 rear DVD entertainment system, the $995 power sunroof, the $625 Climate Package, and the $425 power second-row fold-and-tumble seats. The sticker price for our sample Escalade with all-wheel-drive was $66,110.

Pay for it, you cheap bastard...
Your life has to be worth 66,000 dollars.
Two, don’t have side pieces.  I know I just said above about it being not about the fact that he had someone on the side, but in a way, it is.  You need to go the route of call girl.  Maybe if he watched more cartoons, he would have heard from Chef on South Park sing about what to do…
Three, don’t make promises your ass can’t cash.  You can’t play with people emotions.
Steve did and paid the price…

While the answer can be both, the Steve McNair tragedy proves that pimping aint easy.  When you are trying to balance a business, a family man persona to the media and fans and pimp, something has to give.  Usually is it the family first, as happened in this situation.  The Associated Press is reporting that Mechelle McNair had zero clue that Steve was carrying on an affair behind her back.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — An associate said Wednesday that the wife of ex-NFL quarterback Steve McNair didn’t know about Sahel Kazemi before the 20-year-old woman was found dead alongside her husband on the Fourth of July.

McNair, 36, was shot four times in what the medical examiner has said is likely a murder-suicide, though police haven’t confirmed that Kazemi was responsible.

Mike Mu, who has worked with McNair’s charitable foundation for years, said Mechelle McNair “didn’t know who this girl is.”

Mechelle McNair, who has not spoken publicly since the shooting, has been described by people close to her as being very upset and distraught. Agent Bus Cook said McNair’s wife was “in and out” of it in the hours after the shooting.

Now, not to sound callous, but when done correctly, the spouse or supposed loved one is the last to know about these things.  To hide the affair had to be a lot of work and strain on Steve McNair.  History has to count of something and some of the reason behind the motive might have been that things were not progressing fast enough for Sahel Kazemi.

First, we have the initial reports that the gun was hers, purchased on Thursday, the same day that she was popped for DUI.  Second, we have a story in the Seattle Times that the facts all line up to a murder/suicide.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee’s state medical examiner said Tuesday that investigators have been hesitant to conclude Steve McNair’s girlfriend killed the former quarterback and herself because she didn’t appear to have a motive. But he added that murder-suicide is the most likely scenario.

After the couple was discovered shot to death Saturday, police were quick to label McNair’s death a homicide. McNair, 36, had been shot twice in the head and twice in the chest.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi was dead from a single gunshot to the head. Under her body was a gun police say she purchased Thursday.

Investigators were waiting on ballistics tests on the weapon before issuing a ruling on Kazemi’s death, which medical examiner Bruce Levy said could come in the next few days.

Kazemi’s gun purchase, revealed Monday, is a strong indication she was responsible, Levy said.

Let me help with the motive, the one thing that seems to be slowing up the case.  Steve McNair is a successful community and national icon that took an interest in a 19-20 year old young woman.  He took her on vacations and bought her an Escalade.  She told people that she was in love and that Steve was going to divorce his wife.

Then, the dream starts to die, piece by piece.  On LiveSteez, today they write that Steve stood her up in Las Vegas.

As days pass, details of the murder/suicide of the former Tennessee Titan quarterback, Steve McNair, and his mistress Sahel Kazemi, continue to surface. The latest speculation is, McNair seemed to have wanted to pull away from the affair.

Just two weeks ago, Kazemi and McNair planned a trip to Las Vegas. Kazemi, 20, flew from Tennessee to Nevada to meet  McNair, but he never arrived, reports Florida Times Union.

Soheyla Kazemi, sister of McNair’s mistress, said she was concerned about the age difference between her sister and the former quarterback but “she never listened to nobody.”

As you know, what happens in Vegas, is supposed to stay in Vegas.  But, what happens if that time never happens?  Anger and resentment start to build.  The anger continues later when you are out drinking with Steve (illegally, might I add since the drinking age is 21 in the U.S.) and he asks you to drive.

You get pulled over and arrested for DUI.  Now, I am not sure if you really were smoking marijuana, but for some inexplicable reason, you feel the need to tell the police officer that you were doing that.  Forgive me for getting off topic, but why cop to something that is illegal to try to get out of something that is illegal too?  Its called Driving under the Influence….which includes driving under the influence of weed, or other drugs. I went to FindLaw to research the law in Tennessee.

Code Section 39-17-401, et seq.
Possession Possession or casual exchange of: Less than .5 oz.: Class A misdemeanor and attendance at drug offender school and minimum $250 fine; Casual exchange to a minor from an adult 2 yrs. his senior and adult knows minor is a minor: felony; Subsequent offense: $500 minimum; Third: $750 minimum; Two or more prior convictions, then Class E felony; 20 plants to 99 plants: Class C felony, fined up to $100,000.

So, according to the law, you were in trouble regardless.  After watching Steve drive off in a taxi, and you in a black and white, you start to stew.  You see your carefully planned future going down the drain.  Even though he comes to bail you out, see feel some distance in his behavior towards you.

Time passes.  You get antsy.  Steve hasn’t called you back and you begin to worry that he is going to stay with his wife and not go through the divorce.  Sahel thought that they were going to get married.  The NY Post explains the Adulterer’s Playbook, used by many men and women.  Here, they give the way that Steve tailored it to his liking.

The two met at a local Dave & Buster’s restaurant — where Kazemi worked and McNair often took his family.

“He started to talk to her a little,” Salmani said. “They exchanged phone numbers and started dating from there.

“That’s why she was like, ‘OK, now you’re divorcing. We can date,’ ” Salmani said.

Aaron said yesterday that McNair and Kazemi had had a “dating relationship” for months.

Kazemi had been arrested Thursday night for allegedly driving intoxicated in Nashville. She was pulled over in a 2007 Cadillac Escalade registered to her and McNair, who also was in the SUV.

He bailed out Kazemi — who had told cops she was high, not drunk.

She was mad and there is proof of that.  A neighbor of Sahel tells the Post that the last time she was seen, she was storming off in the Escalade.

One of Kazemi’s neighbors told The Post that McNair “wasn’t hiding” his relationship with the petite beauty, who openly called him her “boyfriend.”

She said Kazemi occasionally would be dropped off at her residence at 3 a.m. by a limo. Debra Bacher, who moved into the apartment directly below Kazemi’s on Wednesday, said, “I saw her Thursday night when she left out of here between 9 and 10 [o'clock]. It’s like she was mad, and she just slammed off in that” Escalade.

Bacher said she never again saw the Escalade, which cops said was sitting outside McNair’s condo when he got home early Saturday.

Police said they know that before he arrived home that morning, he had visited two local watering holes: the Blue Moon Lagoon and Loser’s Bar and Grill.

Clearly, Steve needed some time to think.  He might have ducked some of her calls, leading to the frustration that she might have felt.   The gun was a way to keep them together.  It probably was an impulse buy.  You do have to be rather cold blooded or really emotionally wounded to put two in the dome and two in the chest to anyone who is not directly attacking you.   When he finally went back to the condo after a night of drinking with friends, there was hell to pay. (unfortunately he literally had to pay)

The reason why people have affairs in the first place is to escape their current situation.  The fantasy in the other relationship makes the grass seem greener on the other side.  For Steve McNair, it was green enough for him to make the decision to step outside his marital bounds.  But, when faced with grief from another source, you can see why he might have wanted to break it off.  Hell, if I am going to get yelled at, why not get it at home?

Breaking up is hard to do;  in this case, it might have cost Steve McNair his life.

because they can lead you to get shot up.

Steve just thought that it might be a hit on his rep, not his life...but jail isnt that bad, is it?

But would you get shot for it?

The timeline is not set in stone yet, but this 20 year old woman was one who liked to get out and party.  The drinking age is 21, so I thought, but when you travel in circles with Steve McNair, that might open up doors that would routinely be closed to you.  (either that, or you drink at where you work, which could cost you your license.)

Aren't you underage? How do you have that beer? and by the looks of it, it's a crappy beer like a Corona or something

Aren't you underage? How do you have that beer? and by the looks of it, it's a crappy beer like a Corona or something

Then, after a night of partying and drinking, you get pulled over…

and hauled off to jail,

That has got to be the motto, right? I mean, drinking and driving is only a crime if you got caught

That has got to be the motto, right? I mean, drinking and driving is only a crime if you got caught

while Steve jumps into a taxi and gets home.

So, you had some time to stew in jail about being arrested…

with that time you had, you decided that Steve was going to take everything away.  Maybe you began to have feelings of abandonment,  since your parents were killed when you were young.  You were not going to have that happen to you again.  You and your new lover were going to die together, romantically, just like Romeo and Juliet

Really??? I bet SHE decided that YOU would wear the shirts...

So, then you got your gun that you purchased (privately, as to get around the waiting period) go to the condo and sit and stew while waiting for Steve, who is out drinking with the fellas and is probably chasing better tail…

Sahel, there is a LOT of young tail out there for a guy, especially if you are Steve McNair...just ask his wife, since you are the jumpoff...

and think that nothing is going to come of it when you try to leave the spot.  She thought that it was going to be taken away from her and she did the one thing that she could insure that her future would be forever entertwined with Steve McNair…kill him and kill yourself.

For future players, take a lesson from the tragic tale of Steve McNair.  First, listen to my boyz, Sporty Thievez and No Pidgeons…

then listen to my man Riley…

Think about the game…Game recognize game…

Huey: Granddad, have you asked yourself why a 20-year-old girl would wanna go out with a man your age?
Granddad: Because I laid my game down quite flat.
Riley: Game? What you know about the game, Granddad?
Granddad: I know the game.
Riley: Takin’ women out to eat, givin’ ‘em free meals? What part of the game is that? You takin’ her to Red Lobster with the cheddar biscuits. The fam ain’t eatin’ cheddar biscuits but this random broad is eatin’ cheddar biscuits.
Riley: I know the game. Your granddaddy knows the game.
Riley: Game recognize game, Granddad.
Granddad: I recognize game! Your granddaddy recognize game!
Riley: Game recognize game and you lookin’ kinda unfamiliar right now. I – I can’t… Where’s Granddad? Can I help you, sir?

if only Steve had followed this stuff…

sahel kazemi

When I was driving to work this morning,  for some reason, this song was going through my head…

Now, the Steve McNair situation is not about child molestation and rape and such, but the title got me humming in the car thinking about it.  News has come to light that Sahel bought the gun in a private transaction on Thursday. The Tennessean reports that the police know the ownership trail of the gun.

NASHVILLE — Though many questions remain, investigators now know that Sahel Kazemi bought the gun that ended her life and killed former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair.

Kazemi bought the semi-automatic pistol on Thursday evening from a person Nashville police have not named. She made the purchase the same day she was bailed out of jail by McNair for a DUI charge. Both were found dead less than 48 hours later, in a condo McNair rented.

Now, I know a DUI is bad, but it is not that bad…(unless you kill someone like Leonard Little or Donte’ Stallworth)  Eddie George is still repping the third person argument, which gives credence to my thought of Keith Norfleet  as the killer…The USA Today throws some gas on my theory fire…

Former Titans RB Eddie George said today that a third party may have been involved in the shooting deaths of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi, a 20-year-old woman with whom McNair was having an affair, on Saturday.

“The only issue that I have with the whole situation is I find it hard to believe a 20-year-old would put two bullets in somebody’s head and two in the chest,” George said on Sirius satellite radio. “You’re making a statement and shot herself in the head. And, I don’t know. It just seems like it’s too professionally done.”

George’s comments echo those from Kazemi’s sister, Sepideh Salman, who said Sunday that a “third person” likely was involved in the deaths.

Jealously can cause us to do some things that we are not proud of later.  One poignant example that I have is that an ex-girlfriend broke into my e-mail, and deleted a letter that she wrote me saying some off the hook things about me.

She did it, (and she told me a few hours later) because she cared about me and was concerned that I took our relationship for granted.  Now, I moved out to Minnesota to be with this person, so I obviously had a vested interest in things working out, but her insecurity got the best of her.

As we have said many time before, there is a thin line between love and hate and something that Steve did or said crossed the line for Sahel.

I am going to KILL HIM! right after I have another glass of bubbly or another joint...

ESPN reports that she recently bought a gun.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A relative of the woman found shot to death with Steve McNair said Monday that Nashville police told him she recently purchased a gun and that police believe they are almost sure she was the shooter.

Farzin Abdi is 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi’s nephew, but the two were raised together like brother and sister. Abdi says he does not believe Kazemi would have killed the former Tennessee Titans quarterback and herself.

Abdi said Kazemi, McNair’s girlfriend, had no motive. McNair and Kazemi were found dead on Saturday in a condominium owned by McNair.

Nashville police didn’t immediately have a reaction to Abdi’s comments.

Abdi said Kazemi believed McNair was divorcing his wife and she was preparing to sell her furniture to move in with him.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

We normally are big advocates of guns and maybe if Steve had his piece, this would not have happened.

The Daily News explains that Steve McNair’s mother doesn’t care about the details of the crime…

“Because the way I see it, it was the devil’s work and not God’s work.”

“I’m not mad. I am just grieving over my son,” she told the paper. “He was a great son [and] he was special. I just have a hard-time talking about it – I get teary-eyed.”

Investigators have ruled McNair’s death a homicide. He was hit by four bullets at close range.

Kazemi, a waitress who started dating McNair earlier this year, was killed by a single gunshot to the head. A pistol was found underneath her corpse, but while investigators have hinted that the killings appear to be a murder-suicide, they have not made an official ruling.

Though sources close to the McNairs indicated that the quarterback’s wife, Mechelle, may not have known about her husband’s brazen affair, Kazemi’s family said the waitress believed the quarterback was getting a divorce.

County records do not indicate that a divorce is pending, but the McNair family home is up for sale for $3 million

Here is the worst thing.  What if McNair WAS getting a divorce from his wife?  the family home is for sale… If she can hear me know ( I know, I owe verizon 5 cents for borrowing…) how would she feel knowing that?

cant come back from this mistake...

can't come back from this mistake...

Here is the only other possibility is this dude, Keith Norfleet… look at his MySpace page…

seems a little fishy to me...She did leave him once and four shots to McNair seems excessive...
