You know we went over the reasons why this is true here.  First, we brought you news of the death.  During the reporting of his death, we speculated correctly. (This is something that you never want to be right on) With his death, we tried to look towards something positive.  We told you that you can prevent his from happening by not buying your side pieces things, because they become accustomed to getting things.  When you pull back, they will be upset.  Now, if you are like Loso, then you can just throw it in the bag and not care.

But, it remains worth saying, due to the release of the cell phone records of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi.

One message that I hope doesn’t get lost is that the things that you say are not really protected once you die.  So all the dirt that you texted about, there are records of all that.  So, don’t think that you are getting away with something, because if you commit a crime, they are going to subpoena these records. USA Today reports the mayhem….

Nashville police have released more details about the murder-suicide of former Tennessee quarterback Steve McNair and his 20-year-old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, including some of their final text messages.

In the early morning of July 3, one day before their bodies were found, Kazemi sent a text message to McNair asking if he loved her.

“I’m gonna have all of u soon,” she said.

“Yes u will,” McNair replied.

See, here is the first mistake.  Don’t promise something that you have no intention of following through with.  Playing with someone’s emotions can have dangerous consequences.

The deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide, but the case file was withheld pending outcome of a related federal case involving the sale of the weapon used in the killings.

Click here to read the police summary report.
McNair and Kazemi were found July 4 at a downtown Nashville condo McNair rented.

The former Titan quarterback was shot four times, and Kazemi died from a single gunshot to the head. Neither had any defensive wounds, and police believe McNair was asleep.
Investigators concluded that Kazemi was drowning in debt and despondent over realizations that McNair was dating other women and wasn’t going to leave his wife for her, The Tennessean reports.

If you had kept it real in the first place, then the other women might not have been so stressful.  But, when you tell her that she is about to be elevated to QB#1 and in reality, you keep her on the practice squad, that can tear at a woman.

Early in the morning on July 3, she texted McNair, saying she might have a breakdown because she was so stressed. He responded, telling her everything was going to be fine.

“Baby I need to pay the cell phone bills n the hospital. can you transfer 2000 to my acc (sic)”, the text message said.

Then, nine minutes later, she said she might need to go to the hospital because she could hardly breathe.

A few hours later, she told McNair she wanted to pay some bills before she went to work because they were stressing her out.
He assured her he had someone transferring the money, the report says.

it really isnt that serious....just file for bankruptcy...or have someone steal the Caddy and get the insurance money...

it really isnt that serious....just file for bankruptcy...or have someone steal the Caddy and get the insurance money...

This is when it fully becomes a problem.  When she is equating her fiscal problems with the causes of health problems, then you have a situation that you need to deal with.  The sad fact of the matter is that the 10K or 20 that she owed was a drop in the bucket for McNair.  But, for normal people, that can seem like a drowning amount of money.

The American Dream....to be drowning in debt and owning a bunch of crap....

But, for those of use living large, here is how to live larger

ESPN reports the level of despair that she was feeling…

Kazemi later texted McNair three times asking to be with him that night. He said he was having trouble getting his sons to sleep. But at that time, McNair was seen at a restaurant with friends. Kazemi texted she was going to his condo. He texted back at 12:38 a.m. that he was on his way and asked her to open the front door at 12:52 a.m. Kazemi told him at 1:14 a.m. it was open.

Don’t people know that it’s wrong to speak ill of the dead?

A property management company has filed a claim against former Titan Steve McNair’s estate for back rent on a West End apartment he began leasing in October.

McNair was the co-signer for a condo on Parthenon Avenue near Centennial Park, with his cousin, Raymond White, as the primary renter. But once the 12-month lease was finalized, the electricity was turned on in the name of a young woman, according to public records from Nashville Electric Service.

Mail and utility bills for the condo had been going to 26-year-old Adrianne Hobbs. Gianikas Property Management has asked McNair’s estate for $1,750 in rent, late fees and pet damages for the condo, which was vacated last month.

Rent was late in June and was never paid in July, according to court filings.

McNair was shot and killed July 4 in a condo off Second Avenue. Police have ruled that McNair was murdered by 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi, who then killed herself. The two had been dating, and police said Kazemi was distraught over catching McNair, who was married, with another woman.

Side piece Sahel Kazemi, who murdered McNair and took her own life...obviously during happier times...

Steve, Steve, Steve…if other people learn from this horrible tragedy, then while we would have lost a great leader (and not so great husband) but gained something from his death.  DON’T BUY YOUR SIDE PIECES ANYTHING!  This is where it started (that and keeping it in his pants) to go sideways for him.  had he just been clear that this was some late-night smash time, then she would not have gotten so clingy.  It is a lot easier to separate from that, then it is to make a commitment to someone by buying them things…

She told friends she had seen another woman leave the condo off Second Avenue and followed her home. That woman was not Hobbs, Metro police spokesman Don Aaron said.

“The person who I am aware of, who believes that she was followed by (Kazemi’s) Escalade, is a different individual and lives elsewhere,” Aaron said.

This sounds like it could have gotten worse.  If Sahel “Shooter” Kazemi KNEW OF this other person, I am glad that she didn’t shoot her up too.  Suicide after killing someone else is such the cowards way out…

A former employee at the property management company says McNair had been coming to the office each month and paying the $1,000-a-month rent personally for the Parthenon Avenue residence.

The electricity in Hobbs’ name was disconnected Aug. 7, according to records from the Nashville Electric Service. It is unclear how she knew McNair.

Before we go jumping to conclusions, what if the woman was the side piece of the cousin (or even better yet, what if she was the girlfriend?)  yeah, she would have come forward, but maybe all the notoriety scared her off.  Now, they have your name too…

“As far as we knew, McNair gave (White) the keys, and we thought (White) moved in,” said Stephanie Burch-McMahan, who managed the apartments until earlier this year. “It wasn’t until a couple months later, we discovered there’s no male person living in the apartment.”

Phone numbers for White have been disconnected, and he could not be reached for comment. A call to his attorney was not returned Tuesday.

‘We let it go’

Someone saw a woman walking a puppy in the pet-free condo, and the manager said she sent a letter to White. There appeared to be only women’s items in the apartment, Burch-McMahan said, and other residents of the apartment complex told management they’d seen only McNair and a blonde woman coming and going.

“If there had not been for (McNair’s) celebrity status, we would have called and said, ‘Who is this person living here?’ ” she said. “We knew if we confronted him about it, it would create a lot of awkwardness, so we let it go.”

That is what being famous gets you…a lot less questions.  Steve and others need to know that handling your business out in the open will get you caught up, even if some people are willing to hide it.  All these people thought that they were bulletproof….

Burch-McMahan, a fan of McNair, said she was at first disheartened at the circumstances of McNair’s death, but she considers him a kind and generous person and doesn’t want to judge him now.

“Maybe losing an icon like Steve means we are being asked to re-evaluate what we will accept and expect from relationships, and be conscious of the pain and destructiveness that infidelity causes,” she said.

Sound a lot like Joey, doesn’t it?

Hobbs could not be reached Tuesday. A reporter spoke with her in July at the West End condo, but she said she didn’t know McNair and she had no comment.

Her friend Valerie Skelton identified herself as White’s girlfriend and said she herself lived in the condo. She said she had moved in a few months before McNair’s death. Skelton also did not return a phone call or e-mail Tuesday.

Valerie on the left, Adrienne on the right

Steve, please tell me (through a dream or however the dead contact the living) that you were not smashing either of these two women.  I am hoping that it really was your cousin, his girl and her friend…

Gary Rubenstein, the attorney representing Gianikas Property Management, said mail had been coming in Hobbs’ name, and Skelton applied to be added to the lease nine days after McNair’s death. Rubenstein wasn’t sure who was living there.

Because White was the primary lessee, the company intends to pursue payment from him. But they still filed a claim against McNair’s estate because there is only a limited amount of time to do so, Rubenstein said.

Sharks smell blood in the water.  You are going after the dead for your money?  Let the man rest.

He said he has been in touch with White’s attorney and any payment they get from White will be deducted from their claim against McNair.

Rose Palermo, who represents Mechelle McNair in the probate case, said she has no information about the claim and can’t comment. Steve McNair did not leave a will.

American Express also has filed a claim against his estate for $44,000, and Magee General Hospital in Mississippi has filed for about $287.

Crime case officially isn’t closed

Though Metro investigators ruled the deaths of McNair and Kazemi a murder-suicide on July 8, they have not officially closed the case or made the case file public. It’s unlikely they will do so until the conclusion of the federal case against the man who sold Kazemi the gun, Aaron said.

Adrian Gilliam Jr. has been charged with being a felon in possession of a handgun after the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms traced the gun that killed the pair back to him. He told Metro police he sold Kazemi the gun for $100.

“The Metro Police Department’s investigation is parallel with the investigation by the federal authorities,” Aaron said. “In fact our officers have been very much involved in the federal case as well as the murder-suicide investigation. As far as the very thick case file, I suspect that is going to be not made public until the federal matter is resolved.”

I still feel sorry for the poor sap who thought he was doing some woman a favor by getting here a gun for protection and not he is caught up too…

People have a strange fascination with Roman Polanski.  We almost seem forgetful of the fact that this dude was is a criminal and a criminal that should be forced to serve his time.  But, because of his talent, we want to give him a pass.  well, fate finally kept up with him.  E!Online explains here what happened.

Accepting a lifetime achievement award may have been the blunder of a lifetime for director Roman Polanski. Relatively speaking, of course.

Upon arriving in Switzerland to receive an honorary award at the Zurich Film Festival, the 76-year-old director was taken into custody by local authorities on a U.S. warrant related to his 1977 statutory rape conviction, and is in custody at the Swiss Justice Ministry while plans take shape for an extradition hearing.

The girl was thirteen…shouldn’t that be enough said?  Here is the wiki entry which explains the crime.

In 1977, Polanski, then aged 44, became embroiled in a scandal involving 13-year-old Samantha Gailey (now known as Samantha Geimer). It ultimately led to Polanski’s guilty plea to the charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.[25]

According to Geimer, Polanski asked Geimer’s mother if he could photograph the girl for the French edition of Vogue, which Polanski had been invited to guest-edit. Her mother allowed a private photo shoot. According to Geimer in a 2003 interview, “Everything was going fine; then he asked me to change, well, in front of him.” She added, “It didn’t feel right, and I didn’t want to go back to the second shoot.”

Geimer later agreed to a second session, which took place on March 10, 1977 at the Mulholland area home of actor Jack Nicholson in Los Angeles. “We did photos with me drinking champagne,” Geimer says. “Toward the end it got a little scary, and I realized he had other intentions and I knew I was not where I should be. I just didn’t quite know how to get myself out of there.” She recalled in a 2003 interview that she began to feel uncomfortable after he asked her to lie down on a bed, and how she attempted to resist. “I said, ‘No, no. I don’t want to go in there. No, I don’t want to do this. No!”, and then I didn’t know what else to do,” she stated.[26]

Geimer testified that Polanski performed various sexual acts on her, including oral sex, vaginal intercourse, and anal sex.[27][28][29] after giving her a combination of champagne and quaaludes, a sedative drug.[30]

All I can think of when I read and her this is to think about the ending of the movie KIDS.

If you have not seen this movie, it was one that changed my behavior and reinforced smart thinking.  (Plot summary here)The E!Online story continues…

“We were unaware of any extradition being sought and separate counsel will be retained for those proceedings,” Polanski attorneys Bart Dalton, Doug Dalton and Chad Hummel said in a statement.

Swiss officials say they will not release Polanski, a French citizen, until the extradition process is complete (or has been firmly denied). The Chinatown director fled the United States in 1978 before he could be sentenced for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in California.

Polanski pleaded guilty to unlawful intercourse with a minor and was told he would be credited for time served and avoid further jail time. Apparently fearing the judge would renege on the plea bargain, he fled the country in 1978 and has technically been a fugitive from justice ever since.

Polanksi’s camp filed a motion this year to have the decades-old case dismissed, a motion that his now fortysomething victim supported, but L.A. Superior Court Judge Peter Espinoza insisted Polanksi appear in person to make his case. The filmmaker said he had no plans to return to these shores, ever.

Switzerland has a limited extradition treaty with the U.S., so…we’ll see.

L.A. District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said that her office learned of Polanski’s travel plans last week and alerted Swiss authorities, who picked him up at the airport.

Now, this dude had a traumatic experience happen to him with the death of his wife Sharon Tate and many others at their home while he was out of town, but this doesn’t excuse him.  I am fine with him coming back over here to at least stand trial for the crime/finish his sentencing.  Polanski married Emmanuelle Seigner in 1989 and had kids.  What would he think if someone tried to have sex with his daughter when she was 13?  Hopefully, he comes quietly and does the right thing….

Burress begins sentence in gun case

ESPN.com news services

NEW YORK — One-time Super Bowl hero Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison Tuesday for violating New York’s stringent gun laws and was immediately taken into custody following his hearing. Burress agreed to a plea deal last month and pleaded guilty to a lesser firearms charge. The charges stemmed from an incident late last fall, in which Burress accidentally shot himself in the thigh at a Manhattan nightclub with a gun that had not been licensed in New York.

Former Giants receiver Plaxico Burress carried his son Elijah into court on Tuesday, and then told him goodbye.

He is expected to serve about 20 months with credit for good behavior, followed by two years of probation. Burress arrived at the courthouse with his wife and son Elijah, whom he carried in his arms, at 9:41 a.m. Before the sentencing began, Burress asked for and was granted permission by the judge to say one last goodbye to his wife and family, seated in the fifth row of the courthouse. The hearing was brief, as the prosecution and defense told the judge they had previously agreed to the guilty plea and two-year sentence. A

NBA Star Delonte West Arrested on Weapons Charges
Cavaliers Guard Was Carrying Three Guns While Driving on I-95, Authorities Say

An NBA star and former area high school player was pulled over and arrested in Prince George’s County on Thursday night after a police officer found he was carrying three loaded guns, authorities said.

So, you were rolling something like this, huh?

Delonte West, a guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, was driving a three-wheeled motorcycle north on Interstate 95 near Route 214 in the Largo area when he cut off a Prince George’s County police officer, authorities said. The officer pulled him over, and West told the officer that he was carrying a handgun in his waistband.

remember, this is how Plax shot himself....this is the 9mm

That prompted the officer to call for backup, and investigators found that West was actually carrying three guns: a Beretta 9mm in his waistband, a Ruger .357 strapped to his leg and a shotgun in a guitar case slung over his back, said Maj. Andy Ellis, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County Police Department.

West, who is 26 and lives in Brandywine, was arrested and charged with speeding and two counts of carrying a handgun, Ellis said. He was released today on personal recognizance, according to Ellis and online court records.

Ellis said it was unclear where West was going and why he was armed.

I think that this is where I make the joke like in White Men Can’t Jump, where the guy loses the game (Raymond)  and says that he is going to get his gun…

If I was Boobie Gibson or Anthony Parker, I would watch out….

No really, say it aint so, so I can call you a liar.  It’s always about the money, especially when they say its not about the money.  Her entire rise to fame is premised off a show that I used to watch as a kid called Night Court.

The shows premise was pretty simple….for me, the funny part was how he got the job.  He was the last of the people that they called for the job assignment, since he was home on a Saturday night, and all the other judges were out probably gallivanting around town.

Night Court is an American television situation comedy that aired on NBC from January 1984 until May 1992. The setting was the night shift of a Manhattan court, presided over by the young, unorthodox Judge Harold T. “Harry” Stone (played by Harry Anderson). It was created by comedy writer Reinhold Weege, who had previously worked on the award-winning and wry series Barney Miller in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Night Court, according to the first season DVD, was created without comedian/magician Harry Anderson in mind, but Anderson auditioned with the claim that he was Harry Stone. Anderson had developed a following with his performances on Saturday Night Live and made several successful appearances as “Harry the Hat” on another NBC sitcom, Cheers. (For the first several years of its run, Night Court aired on NBC Thursday nights after Cheers.) In later seasons, while Anderson remained the key figure, John Larroquette became the breakout personality, winning a number of awards and many fans for his performance as the lecherous Dan Fielding.

The comedy style on Night Court changed as the series progressed. During its initial seasons, the show was often compared to Barney Miller. In addition to being created by a writer of that show, Night Court (like Barney Miller) was set in New York City, featured quirky, often dry humor, and dealt with a staff who tried to cope with a parade of eccentric, often neurotic criminals and complainants. Furthering this comparison, these criminals and complainants were routinely played by character actors who had made frequent guest appearances on Barney Miller: Stanley Brock, Philip Sterling, Alex Hentlehoff, and many others. But while the characters appearing in the courtroom (and the nature of their transgressions) were often whimsical, bizarre or humorously inept, in the early years of Night Court, the show still took place in the ‘real world’. In fact, in an early review of the show, Time magazine called Night Court, with its emphasis on non-glamorous, non-violent petty crime, the most realistic law show on the air.

Gradually, however, Night Court abandoned its initial ‘real world’ setting, and morphed into what could best be described as broad, almost slapstick comedy. Logic and realism were frequently abandoned for the sake of a joke.

The show featured several defendants who appeared before the court again and again—notably the Wheelers, Bob and June (Bob was played by Brent Spiner later known for his role as Data in Star Trek: The Next Generation), who initially pretended to be stereotypical hicks from West Virginia but were later revealed as Yugoslavians, and at one point even ran a concession stand in the courthouse.

Levi Johnston slams Sarah Palin, saying she schemed to hide daughter Bristol’s pregnancy

In the wake of his most recent Vanity Fair article, Levi Johnston is making his way further down former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's Christmas card list.

In the wake of his most recent Vanity Fair article, Levi Johnston is making his way further down former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s Christmas card list.

Sarah Palin’s almost son-in-law has launched a flurry of new slapshots at the former GOP veep hopeful — saying she’s not a real  hockey mom, plotted to hide her daughter’s pregnancy, and quit as Alaska’s governor to make money.

The scathing allegations by Levi Johnston, 18, the father of Palin’s grandson and a frequent critic of the Palin family, can be found in a first-person account by Johnston in this month’s Vanity Fair, entitled “Me and Mrs. Palin.”

It’s not a pretty picture: Johnston casts Palin as virtually the exact opposite of her image as the moose-hunting matriarch of a large and happy family.

“Even before she was nominated,” Johnston writes, “there wasn’t much parenting in that house. Sarah doesn’t cook, [her husband] Todd doesn’t cook — the kids would do it all themselves: cook, clean, do the laundry, and get ready for school.”

Johnston — who fathered a child with Palin’s daughter, Bristol, but ended up cancelling wedding plans after last year’s election — also said Palin quit her job as governor to cash in on her fame.

It was  a payday Palin started mulling within a few weeks of returning to Alaska after her failed run for vice president, Johnston wrote.

“She started talking about how nice it would be to quit and write a book or do a show and make ‘triple the money,’” Johnston said of Palin. “It was, to her, ‘not as hard.’ She would blatantly say, ‘I want to just take this money and quit being governor.’

Palin has said she quit to avoid becoming a lame duck and to push her conservative agenda from outside the political system.

Calls to Palin’s political action committee seeking comment on Johnston’s allegations were not immediately returned on Wednesday.

In one of the story’s more explosive charges, Johnston also alleges that Palin asked him and Bristol not to reveal Bristol’s pregnancy, and that she pushed to adopt the child as a way to keep the birth a secret.

“That way, she said, Bristol and I didn’t have to worry about a thing,” Johnston wrote.

“Sarah kept mentioning this plan,” he added. “She was nagging — she wouldn’t give up. She would say, ‘So, are you gonna let me adopt him?’ We both kept telling her we were definitely not going to let her adopt the baby.”

Johnston said that Palin’s own family life was far from the image of wedded bliss presented to the nation — she and Todd rarely slept in the same room, Johnston alleged, and the couple often screamed about getting divorced.

“Todd would say, ‘All right, do you want a divorce? Is that what you want? Let’s do it! Sign the papers!’ They’d either stop and be fine or Sarah would go to her room. That’s just how it was with them,” he wrote.

But Todd always knew who was boss, Johnston added.

“\[Sarah\] would tell Todd to mow the grass, hang things up, and clean the house. And Todd would listen to her when she spoke,” he wrote. “If she told Todd to do something, he’d do it.”

What Palin didn’t do much is two things for which she became famous during last year’s campaign: go to her son’s hockey games, or hunt wild animals.

“She pays no attention to her kids when the cameras aren’t around,” Johnston wrote. “[Her son] Track and I grew up playing hockey together, and I only saw her at about 15% of his games.”

As for hunting: “She says she goes hunting and lives off animal meat — I’ve never seen it,” wrote Johnston.

“She had a gun in her bedroom and one day she asked me to show her how to shoot it. I asked her what kind of gun it was, and she said she didn’t know, because it was in a box under her bed.

The real shame is that the created caricature of Sarah Palin will fail and our political jokes will not be as funny.  For Levi, he is the hater of the week.  In addition to that, he also helps Palin win the Whoops! I got caught up award…

Thursday, August 20, 2009 Burress pleads guilty on felony charge

ESPN.com news services NEW YORK — Former New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress pleaded guilty Thursday to a weapons charge and agreed to a two-year prison term for accidentally shooting himself at a Manhattan nightclub. Burress pleaded guilty to one count of attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a lesser charge than he initially faced. Under a plea agreement, he agreed to a two-year prison sentence and two years of supervised release. Burress was indicted earlier this month on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of reckless endangerment. He faced a minimum sentence of 3½ years if convicted at a trial. The guilty plea ends months of haggling between Burress’ attorney and the Manhattan district attorney’s office. The case went to a grand jury earlier this month after negotiations broke down, apparently because District Attorney Robert Morgenthau was insisting that Burress serve at least two years in prison. Assistant District Attorney Mark Dwyer said it is standard policy to request a two-year sentence as part of a plea bargain on such serious charges.

I still don’t get why this is a serious crime. The only thing serious is that another famous athlete is caught up. It seems that you are making it serious to seem hard on crime and to make it look like you don’t play favorites, but we all know that is not true. This is not about race, but it is about class, race, fame and circumstance. If this was something that they found in the car during a traffic search, it would still be serious, but he wouldn’t do jail time. He would be able to run the registered in FLA cap, and get around serious time. This feels more like a punishment for stupidity than for anything else…

Sentencing was set for Sept. 22. In a Manhattan state Supreme Court room on Thursday, the soft-spoken Burress, wearing a dark blue suit, first entered a not-guilty plea to the initial charges against him. After attorneys on both sides conferred, Burress said, “guilty” to the new attempted weapons possession charge. His attorney, Benjamin Brafman, said in court that the 31-year-old Burress was thinking of his family in taking the plea, although he questioned the recommended prison sentence. “This was not an intentional criminal act,” Brafman said. “In my judgment, a two-year prison sentence is a very severe punishment.” With time off for good behavior, the sentence could be reduced to 20 months. Burress and former teammate Antonio Pierce were at the Latin Quarter nightclub in late November 2008 when a gun tucked into Burress’ waistband slipped down his leg and fired, shooting him in the right thigh. The bullet narrowly missed a nightclub security guard who was standing inches away, prosecutors said, lodged in the floor and was recovered by a bartender. The gun was not licensed in New York or in New Jersey, where Burress lived, prosecutors said. His license to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Florida had expired in May 2008. Prosecutors said Pierce drove Burress to a hospital, then took the gun to his own home in New Jersey, where it was later delivered to Burress’ home. Pierce was not indicted. The grand jury also did not indict the nightclub security guard who carried the gun to Pierce’s car or the hospital staff members who failed to notify police that Burress had been shot.

So all of those people, under the letter of the law, committed a crime, but the grand jury refused to indict them for their role in the situation? Under the law, any gun accident has to be reported to the police. That didn’t happen in this case. Someone could have lost their license to practice medicene. Would that have been too severe? Evidently, by the refusal to bring charges. But, Plax is going ot lose his career with two years in the slammer and it’s okay.

Burress, who caught the winning touchdown for the Giants against the New England Patriots in the final minute of the 2008 Super Bowl, also could face disciplinary action by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen reported that Goodell and Burress had met last week. The Giants released Burress in April; he had yet to sign with another team. I just hope that athletes remember that this is not the wild west, and you do not need to carry a gun.  think Vernon Forrest…R.I.P.

wait in line, I got enough sugar for you too!

Jealously can cause us to do some things that we are not proud of later.  One poignant example that I have is that an ex-girlfriend broke into my e-mail, and deleted a letter that she wrote me saying some off the hook things about me.

She did it, (and she told me a few hours later) because she cared about me and was concerned that I took our relationship for granted.  Now, I moved out to Minnesota to be with this person, so I obviously had a vested interest in things working out, but her insecurity got the best of her.

As we have said many time before, there is a thin line between love and hate and something that Steve did or said crossed the line for Sahel.

ESPN reports that she recently bought a gun.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A relative of the woman found shot to death with Steve McNair said Monday that Nashville police told him she recently purchased a gun and that police believe they are almost sure she was the shooter.

Farzin Abdi is 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi’s nephew, but the two were raised together like brother and sister. Abdi says he does not believe Kazemi would have killed the former Tennessee Titans quarterback and herself.

Abdi said Kazemi, McNair’s girlfriend, had no motive. McNair and Kazemi were found dead on Saturday in a condominium owned by McNair.

Nashville police didn’t immediately have a reaction to Abdi’s comments.

Abdi said Kazemi believed McNair was divorcing his wife and she was preparing to sell her furniture to move in with him.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

We normally are big advocates of guns and maybe if Steve had his piece, this would not have happened.

The Daily News explains that Steve McNair’s mother doesn’t care about the details of the crime…

“Because the way I see it, it was the devil’s work and not God’s work.”

“I’m not mad. I am just grieving over my son,” she told the paper. “He was a great son [and] he was special. I just have a hard-time talking about it – I get teary-eyed.”

Investigators have ruled McNair’s death a homicide. He was hit by four bullets at close range.

Kazemi, a waitress who started dating McNair earlier this year, was killed by a single gunshot to the head. A pistol was found underneath her corpse, but while investigators have hinted that the killings appear to be a murder-suicide, they have not made an official ruling.

Though sources close to the McNairs indicated that the quarterback’s wife, Mechelle, may not have known about her husband’s brazen affair, Kazemi’s family said the waitress believed the quarterback was getting a divorce.

County records do not indicate that a divorce is pending, but the McNair family home is up for sale for $3 million

Here is the worst thing.  What if McNair WAS getting a divorce from his wife?  the family home is for sale… If she can hear me know ( I know, I owe verizon 5 cents for borrowing…) how would she feel knowing that?

cant come back from this mistake...

can't come back from this mistake...

Here is the only other possibility is this dude, Keith Norfleet… look at his MySpace page…

seems a little fishy to me...She did leave him once and four shots to McNair seems excessive...
