Mike Brown, Cleveland Cavs coach is the definition of cold-blooded as he fails to play Big Z
December 1, 2009

Coach Mike Brown and Homer share the same cat scan
Coaching is a very touchy subject. There is no right way to do it. As long as you bring wins to the franchise, then you are doing a good job. You can go outside the bounds of decency as a coach to get those wins. Woody Hayes is the shining example of a coach going too far.

right, left, right, left they toothless and people say G*dd@mn they ruthless... The original gangster Woody Hayes
The video of the event is shocking as well. Look at how he winds up to land the blow…
As someone who walks both sides of the line, the job is not easy. On the high school level, you can have (thankfully this year I don’t) parents in your ear about who to play, or the Athletic Director. On the varsity, we give suggestions to the JV coach on who and what we want to have develop. But, as a coach, you go with your gut and your experience. The News-Herald explains.
Cavaliers coach Mike Brown often governs with his gut.
He makes important decisions by how he feels in the pit of his stomach.
It’s an art form. There cannot be only one way to accomplish your goal. As a fan, we have the right to criticize the maneuvers of the coach. Mike Brown of the Cavs deserves a heaping pile of scorn right now, for not playing Zydrunas Ilgauskas. The News-Herald continues…
Brown’s decision to bench Zydrunas Ilgauskas on Saturday didn’t go over well with the 7-foot-3 center, his teammates, his agent and many of the fans.
It was supposed to be Ilgauskas’ big night.
Ilgauskas, 34, came into Saturday’s game against Dallas tied with Cavs general manager Danny Ferry with 723 games played, first in franchise history.
Everything was set for the Cavs to honor the major accomplishment. However, Brown inexplicably saddled Ilgauskas with what is thought to be his first “DNP-CD” of his career.
Arguably, this guy has been one of the three best centers your franchise has ever had and this is the way the guy goes out? It took LeBron to put into words what most people who knew about the record was thinking.
LeBron James, though, had the clout to say what needed to be said.
But why didn’t Brown?
“After having a little bit of time to think about it, me personally, I definitely thought he should have played,” James said. “I’m not trying to stir up anything with Coach. I don’t know who made the call.
“One game is a smaller thing. What was on the line (on Saturday) was way bigger than us playing the Mavericks. That was Z breaking the record to become the franchise leader in games played.”
Ilgauskas reportedly was steamed about Brown’s blunder.
“I think it’s a sensitive subject,” James said. “I’m not one to raise havoc in the locker room, but for me, I speak the truth. As a friend of his, I was very upset, and I know he was also.
“I stand behind Z on whatever he feels.”

Coach Mike, less is more. This is a lesson learned from Tiger...
The bigger problem that I have is that the coach really doesn’t understand that he has made a mistake. Lets look at his statements after the game.
Brown, though, needs to have a sitdown with Ilgauskas.
“We haven’t sat down and talked face-to-face,” Brown said. “It may come to that.”
Brown said if he had it to do over again, “I’d try to play him.
This is the first clue that he really has no understanding about his team or about the record that was about to be set. Why would you TRY to play him? You would JUST PLAY HIM! Even LBJ had a decent suggestion about the way to work it.
James said one way Brown could have handled the situation was to start Ilgauskas against the Mavs and then substitute for him a minute or two into the game.
That way, he could have gotten a standing ovation from the fans and the Cavs could have honored him with a plaque.
“There were a number of ways for that to be accomplished,” James said. “It could have been done.”
EXACTLY! It could have been done, but I don’t think that the coach really sees it that way. He is so caught up in the winning aspect that he fails to see his players as anything but soldiers that can be sacrificed for the greater good. You burn out your players, you will have nothing to fall back on when you really need it. The coaches justification continues…
“He was on the minutes’ sheet to play his normal 20 to 25 minutes. They went small, and the team that was out there played well. I stuck with it.
“It wasn’t planned. It just happened. There was nothing for me to say. It was based on matchups and the course of the game. You can call it a mistake or a coach’s decision.”
I think that it is pretty clear that is was a mistake.
Brown said he’s handled his players well since he’s been with the Cavs.
“I’ve done a decent job of treating guys right,” he said. “Maybe in a lot of guys’ minds, I didn’t this time. I don’t know. That’s part of being a head coach.”
Being a head coach is about being a leader of men (or in my case a leader of women) and being someone that they look to when the times are rough. last night, in our scrimmage, we came out flat and we were down at the half. It took a rousing halftime by the women to get their heads on right and the trust in the coaching staff to get the game back. We went on a 16-7 run and ended up winning. You have to have trust and I don’t think that Mike Brown has it. When your BEST player says that you did someone dirty, it’s because you most likely did someone dirty. Own up to the mistake and make it right. Everything else are just excuses that keep the problem alive.
There was an opportunity for Ilgauskas to play at the end of the game, but Brown didn’t want to disrespect the center.
“That’s when you start battling yourself,” he said.
Why do you care? Either the matchups were are weren’t there. Either you wanted to respect him (then you should of played him to get the record and the adulation of the fans) or you didn’t care about his feelings (in which case you should have thrown him in there as well) This would have gone away had you met with the players and told them of your sub pattern (since you should have figured that they might go small) and just played him early and gotten it out of the way.
You better hope that this doesn’t lead to a mutiny, because management usually sides with the players, especially if you are LBJ, in a walk year. For this, Coach Mike, you are the hater of the week!
Lawrence Taylor makes another BIG HIT, but this time he ran too….

Lawrence Taylor clearly loves life and all that it has to offer. What we also know is that L.T. loves drugs of all kinds, whether it is the sauce or the rocks, he doesn’t know how to say no. This passion and fire led him to become one of the fiercest pass rushers in NFL History.
But it has also led him into trouble.

Damn L.T. you clearly look faded in the picture. But, it does look like a happy fade, where you are pleasantly buzzed, but still have no business behind the wheel of a car.
Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) — Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker and former New York Giant Lawrence Taylor was arrested in Hialeah, Florida, after crashing into another motor vehicle and leaving the scene, according to police.
Taylor, 50, struck a car on Expressway 826 near the 103rd Street exit, and drove to the next exit before he pulled over, said Lieutenant James Durden, a spokesman for the Florida Highway Patrol. Taylor was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage.
Taylor told patrol officers that he was the driver of the car, and said he thought he had hit the guardrail rather than another vehicle. The offense is a misdemeanor because there were no injuries to either driver, Durden said.
Taylor, a 10-time Pro Bowl linebacker played all 13 of his NFL seasons with the Giants. He previously was found guilty of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and had been placed on probation after pleading guilty to tax evasion and for buying crack cocaine from an undercover police officer.
Thomas Melani, an attorney who defended Taylor previously, said he no longer has contact with him. Taylor’s telephone number was not listed in the Hialeah area.

Someone really needs to help him, before in an instant….he’s gone. The man is a known crackhead. He was awesome, but when the rocks man gets em…he doesn’t let go.
On a different tune, the Police Officers must have been sprung with having L.T. in there. So much so, they didn’t give him a breath test. That is when you know you are big time.

This morning is going to be about basketball, since I am in a bball state of mind this morning. I am moving into week two of the basketball season as a coach, and we have our first game in two weeks. It will be a little different not calling the plays and making the sub pattern, but I am getting use to being number two in charge.
As a coach, we stress the never say quit attitude in our players. Dwight Howard questioned the heart of his team.
Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel: “As if the loss to a reigning lottery team wasn’t bad enough, Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard said it appeared his team “quit” during the dreary proceedings. ‘We haven’t had a game like this in a long time. We’d miss shots and guys would hang their heads,’ Howard said. ‘I don’t think we should quit in a game. Seems like, as a team, we shouldn’t quit.’ It’s one thing for the Magic to be routed by the Oklahoma City Thunder 102-74 on Sunday night at Ford Center. It’s another thing for Howard to suggest the Magic (5-2) retired early against a team that is improving, but one that won just 23 games last season. Howard showed no anger. He was singing some song as he sprayed a cloud of cologne. Nobody turned over a table in the middle of the room that offered chicken and mixed vegetables. ‘It doesn’t seem to bother anybody in the locker room,’ Coach Stan Van Gundy said.”
Now, I guess Dwight seemed happy because he was thinking about this…That might make you not want to quit as well. SportsRadioInterveiws provides the highlights.

You have my vote Mary...
And then on a far more comical note, her relationship with Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard:
“Yeah, Dwight and I met at LAX. I was like, you’re a basketball player, and he was like, I’ve seen you at Magic games, so he recognized me from games. I used to always get written up when I went to games for causing distractions and stuff.”
After a brief digression to talk about her nails, Carey continued on about Howard:
“Dwight’s a cool guy. For a month, we like talked on the phone, and he was always trying to give me prayers to get me out of porn and give me Bible verses to read. So then, I was going to go visit him when I was in Orlando, but I went over to this other guy’s house instead, Chris Kirkpatrick from N’Sync.

This is the guy you are sexing up? Really? Then that gives the rest of us a lot of courage to know that this douchebag is soaking up the panties...BTW Nice coat Joesph....where can I get the technicolor dreamcoat look?
And then Dwight started calling, and calling, and calling me, because he knew I was with Chris Kirkpatrick, so eventually at 3 in the morning, Chris was like don’t answer Dwight’s calls. I get a text from Dwight at 3 in the morning – I’m outside Chris’s house. I’m like oh my god, what do I do? I was like, I got Dwight here and I got Chris in the other room and I’m talking to them back and forth. So finally I had to just pull Dwight in the bathroom and tell him he needs to go home. I was like I’m really sorry, I really like you, but this isn’t the time or place.
Two things strike me reading this account. One, why are you outside dude’s house. If you are with him, then you continue to sleep, or have sex or whatever you were doing at three in the morning.
Two, why did you pull Dwight into the bathroom? I am usually thinking that something freaky is going to happen when I am in the bathroom with someone of the opposite sex, especially when she pulls me in there. Just like Shock G said, ” I once got busy in a Burger King bathroom”…

Open wide for the favor train!...I would think that Dwight would have a bigger...."sandwich", I mean he is seven feet tall...Plus, only 6.25? I thought that is normally 100 in the strip clubs...
When I pull him in the bathroom, he pulls his pants down, I was like, whooa. Yeah, and so I ran and started screaming…
You are a porn star. You should not be so shy. According to IMDB, you were in the following classics.
5 Guy Cream Pie 5 (2003) (V)
Kick Ass Chicks 41: Vaginaterians (2007) (V)
Lick My Balls (2005) (V)
Asses in the Air 4 (2002) (V)
So, I am thinking that you have seen a guy’s private parts before. You were in Being Ron Jeremy (2003), so you saw the hedgehog’s goods. Spare me shock and indignation.

What you talkin bout Willis?
Well if it wasn’t for the Chris thing at the time, I really liked Dwight and maybe I would have furthered this. But I was at the guy’s house I was dating so it was inappropriate. So he totally thought he totally offended me. So I saved – he and I used to talk on instant messenger, on AOL – so he was apologizing; sorry, that was out of character for me, blah blah blah. I saved all the instant messages and I’ve been putting them all in a book. So I’ve got a lot of evidence. I’ve got an evidence file.”

Damn playa, she got your business all out on the internet…and maybe that is the reason that all apologies should be done in person.
Kim Kardashian is turning black! Well, at least her eye is….
November 5, 2009

This is Kim all made up....
SO much is made of Kim and her luscious cakes that the face gets lost in the shuffle. Now, with her black eye, she will have something else to display for the paparazzi.

Are you sure Reggie wasn't practicing the Pimps Prayer?
Kim Kardashian’s charity boxing match got ugly when she left the ring with a black eye and her brother Rob ended up in the hospital with a concussion, according to the reality star’s blog.
Kim says her family took a helicopter to a charity event where they agreed to participate in boxing matches in order to raise support for The Dream Foundation. “We literally had three days of training to prepare for the event,” she explains on her blog. “We didn’t expect what happened…”
The reality star beauty says that her brother went against an opponent “at least 25 pounds heavier than him” and when his mask fell off, he got hit hard. “When he put his hands down, he got hit in the face and ended up in [the] hospital with a concussion. Rob’s a strong guy and can definitely hold his own, but he wasn’t expecting to get hit after his mask had fallen off! This guy just got really down and dirty!”
Kim says her opponent was tough as well. “I knew I had to do it for charity, since that’s what it was all about, but man, my girl could throw a punch!” Kim writes. “Look at my black eye!!!”
Regardless of the bumps and bruises from the event, Kim says a concussion and a black eye can’t hold her family down! She blogs, “Rob is doing fine now and my black eye will be gone soon … I hope. You can try to bring the Kardashians down … but we’re a strong family.”
But Rob got a foot broke off in his ass. You might want to finish the quote with, but we can be knocked out. Plus, why are you making excuses for him? At the point he crossed the ropes, all excuses go out the window. he got served, plain and simple.
Meet Kordeza Zhelyazkova, who at 11 is married and a Mother in Bulgaria….what is the world coming to?
November 3, 2009
I really don’t have much to say about this one…actually I do and when I have to say, ” What in the hell is this world coming to?” then you know it is bad.
An 11-year-old girl became one of the world’s youngest mothers – and went into labour on the way to her wedding.
Kordeza Zhelyazkova, from Sliven in Bulgaria, was still wearing her wedding dress and tiara as she was rushed to hospital, where she gave birth to 5lb 8oz Violeta.
Proudly displaying her baby, she told reporters: ‘I’m not going to play with toys any more – I have a new toy now.’
My new toy: Korteza Zhelyazkova, 11, shows off her baby Violeta – the 19-year-old father is facing six years in jail for having sex with a minor. This is the thing that is wrong with parenting. Now, I believe that you should have to have a license to have a kid now. You should have to pass a test and go to some parenting classes. A child is not a toy.
Kordeza – who fell pregnant within two weeks of her 11th birthday – spent the night in hospital with Violeta and then headed back to church for her wedding with 19-year-old Jeliazko Dimitrov.
Kordeza told the News of the World: ‘It feels strange to be a mum and have a baby.
‘I used to play with my toys but now she is my new toy.
‘She is so beautiful, I love her. Violeta is the child and I must grow up. I am not going back to school – I am a mother now.’
See….that is the silliest and most naive thing that could have come out of her mouth. What skill set do you have that can earn money for your family? Don’t you know that you don’t have to stay at home and raise a family? You were going to school to better yourself. You have a chance to NOT be dependent on the system for your survival. Don’t become another welfare mom.
The couple met when Jeliazko rescued Kordeza from bullies in the playground.
However he now faces six years in jail for having sex with a minor, telling the paper his fears when he found out Kordeza was pregnant.
He said: ‘I was really scared.
‘We didn’t plan to have sex or a baby although I fell in love with Kordeza the moment I saw her.
Don’t worry Jeliazko, someone is going to fall in love with you at first site too.

You will be the bell of the ball....good luck to the new Ms. Jeliazko Dimitrov
Plus, what were you doing hanging out at the playground? That alone seems pretty creepy, like Herbert.

Herbert the pervert is what to think about when you think about this union...
He added: ‘I was walking past the school when I saw some boys mocking her and I told them to leave her alone.
‘Then she arranged to meet me and asked me out on our first date. I thought she was 15. She didn’t tell me she was 11.’
Kordeza added: ‘I didn’t want to say in case he wouldn’t fancy me.’
Their daughter was conceived within a week of their meeting.
Kordeza said: ‘I didn’t know I was pregnant until my grandmother saw I had put on weight. I just thought I’d eaten too many burgers.’
Her grandmother Dida, 55, said: ‘It’s normal for our girls to have babies young. It’s our tradition. But I didn’t want it for my Kordeza – I felt she was too young.’
The family planned a three-day Roma wedding for October 22 – so Kordeza and Jeliazko could be married before the baby was born.
But Kordeza went into labour a week early, on the second day of the ceremony.
She said: ‘I had been having pain in the morning and a couple of hours into the wedding it got worse.’
She was rushed to hospital and gave birth 20 minutes later.
Kordeza said: ‘It was quite easy but painful too. I was very happy when I saw her. She has a nose like me and hair like Jeliazko.’
Both grandmothers will be guardians of baby Violeta, and Kordeza and her daughter will receive £70 a month in state benefits.
The age of consent in Bulgaria is 14.
The whole story is just shocking to the mind. The fact that the parents are so blaze about it and I am up in arms has me a little worried…
You know we went over the reasons why this is true here. First, we brought you news of the death. During the reporting of his death, we speculated correctly. (This is something that you never want to be right on) With his death, we tried to look towards something positive. We told you that you can prevent his from happening by not buying your side pieces things, because they become accustomed to getting things. When you pull back, they will be upset. Now, if you are like Loso, then you can just throw it in the bag and not care.
But, it remains worth saying, due to the release of the cell phone records of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi.
One message that I hope doesn’t get lost is that the things that you say are not really protected once you die. So all the dirt that you texted about, there are records of all that. So, don’t think that you are getting away with something, because if you commit a crime, they are going to subpoena these records. USA Today reports the mayhem….
Nashville police have released more details about the murder-suicide of former Tennessee quarterback Steve McNair and his 20-year-old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, including some of their final text messages.
In the early morning of July 3, one day before their bodies were found, Kazemi sent a text message to McNair asking if he loved her.
“I’m gonna have all of u soon,” she said.
“Yes u will,” McNair replied.
See, here is the first mistake. Don’t promise something that you have no intention of following through with. Playing with someone’s emotions can have dangerous consequences.
The deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide, but the case file was withheld pending outcome of a related federal case involving the sale of the weapon used in the killings.
Click here to read the police summary report.
McNair and Kazemi were found July 4 at a downtown Nashville condo McNair rented. The former Titan quarterback was shot four times, and Kazemi died from a single gunshot to the head. Neither had any defensive wounds, and police believe McNair was asleep.
Investigators concluded that Kazemi was drowning in debt and despondent over realizations that McNair was dating other women and wasn’t going to leave his wife for her, The Tennessean reports.
If you had kept it real in the first place, then the other women might not have been so stressful. But, when you tell her that she is about to be elevated to QB#1 and in reality, you keep her on the practice squad, that can tear at a woman.
Early in the morning on July 3, she texted McNair, saying she might have a breakdown because she was so stressed. He responded, telling her everything was going to be fine.
“Baby I need to pay the cell phone bills n the hospital. can you transfer 2000 to my acc (sic)”, the text message said.
Then, nine minutes later, she said she might need to go to the hospital because she could hardly breathe.
A few hours later, she told McNair she wanted to pay some bills before she went to work because they were stressing her out.
He assured her he had someone transferring the money, the report says.

it really isnt that serious....just file for bankruptcy...or have someone steal the Caddy and get the insurance money...
This is when it fully becomes a problem. When she is equating her fiscal problems with the causes of health problems, then you have a situation that you need to deal with. The sad fact of the matter is that the 10K or 20 that she owed was a drop in the bucket for McNair. But, for normal people, that can seem like a drowning amount of money.

The American Dream....to be drowning in debt and owning a bunch of crap....
But, for those of use living large, here is how to live larger
ESPN reports the level of despair that she was feeling…
Kazemi later texted McNair three times asking to be with him that night. He said he was having trouble getting his sons to sleep. But at that time, McNair was seen at a restaurant with friends. Kazemi texted she was going to his condo. He texted back at 12:38 a.m. that he was on his way and asked her to open the front door at 12:52 a.m. Kazemi told him at 1:14 a.m. it was open.
Don’t play with people emotions is the sad tale that this story tells. That and not to have a side pivce or jump-off
JaMarcus Russell is a bust and that stench is starting to carry over to Darren McFadden and others….
October 8, 2009

JRuss doesn't know up from down...
This is really the s*#$ that got me mad….
You should not take this as “The Too Old Crew has give up on the Raiders…” Far from that. I am just tired of the losing. The Raiders have lost 11 or more games for the last6 years and it is wearing on me personally. Not enough to give them up, but enough to be mad and call for change. (Note, I am typing this while drinking out of my Black Raiders Aluminum Water Bottle, because I care about the Raiders and the environment.)

Keeps the water cold that I need to cool my emtions down about the Raiders...
Here is the Raiders record over the last six years. It’s not pretty and things have to change.

Having some of the top picks were designed to get us out of this rut. Instead, the drafting of JaMarcus Russell has seemingly set the franchise back another five years from being relevant. This is not the comments of a spurned fan. This is what I said during the draft. My hopes were pinned on either taking Calvin Johnson or trading the pick and getting some proven talent. Instead, we drafted a QB that wasn’t ready for prime time. Yahoo explains the mistake that we made. Read the rest of this entry »
Steve McNair and side pieces are still in the news…Damn, can’t you let a dead dude rest?
October 6, 2009
Don’t people know that it’s wrong to speak ill of the dead?
By Kate Howard, The Tennessean
A property management company has filed a claim against former Titan Steve McNair’s estate for back rent on a West End apartment he began leasing in October.
McNair was the co-signer for a condo on Parthenon Avenue near Centennial Park, with his cousin, Raymond White, as the primary renter. But once the 12-month lease was finalized, the electricity was turned on in the name of a young woman, according to public records from Nashville Electric Service.
Mail and utility bills for the condo had been going to 26-year-old Adrianne Hobbs. Gianikas Property Management has asked McNair’s estate for $1,750 in rent, late fees and pet damages for the condo, which was vacated last month.
Rent was late in June and was never paid in July, according to court filings.
McNair was shot and killed July 4 in a condo off Second Avenue. Police have ruled that McNair was murdered by 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi, who then killed herself. The two had been dating, and police said Kazemi was distraught over catching McNair, who was married, with another woman.

Side piece Sahel Kazemi, who murdered McNair and took her own life...obviously during happier times...
Steve, Steve, Steve…if other people learn from this horrible tragedy, then while we would have lost a great leader (and not so great husband) but gained something from his death. DON’T BUY YOUR SIDE PIECES ANYTHING! This is where it started (that and keeping it in his pants) to go sideways for him. had he just been clear that this was some late-night smash time, then she would not have gotten so clingy. It is a lot easier to separate from that, then it is to make a commitment to someone by buying them things…
She told friends she had seen another woman leave the condo off Second Avenue and followed her home. That woman was not Hobbs, Metro police spokesman Don Aaron said.
“The person who I am aware of, who believes that she was followed by (Kazemi’s) Escalade, is a different individual and lives elsewhere,” Aaron said.
This sounds like it could have gotten worse. If Sahel “Shooter” Kazemi KNEW OF this other person, I am glad that she didn’t shoot her up too. Suicide after killing someone else is such the cowards way out…
A former employee at the property management company says McNair had been coming to the office each month and paying the $1,000-a-month rent personally for the Parthenon Avenue residence.
The electricity in Hobbs’ name was disconnected Aug. 7, according to records from the Nashville Electric Service. It is unclear how she knew McNair.
Before we go jumping to conclusions, what if the woman was the side piece of the cousin (or even better yet, what if she was the girlfriend?) yeah, she would have come forward, but maybe all the notoriety scared her off. Now, they have your name too…
“As far as we knew, McNair gave (White) the keys, and we thought (White) moved in,” said Stephanie Burch-McMahan, who managed the apartments until earlier this year. “It wasn’t until a couple months later, we discovered there’s no male person living in the apartment.”
Phone numbers for White have been disconnected, and he could not be reached for comment. A call to his attorney was not returned Tuesday.
‘We let it go’
Someone saw a woman walking a puppy in the pet-free condo, and the manager said she sent a letter to White. There appeared to be only women’s items in the apartment, Burch-McMahan said, and other residents of the apartment complex told management they’d seen only McNair and a blonde woman coming and going.
“If there had not been for (McNair’s) celebrity status, we would have called and said, ‘Who is this person living here?’ ” she said. “We knew if we confronted him about it, it would create a lot of awkwardness, so we let it go.”
That is what being famous gets you…a lot less questions. Steve and others need to know that handling your business out in the open will get you caught up, even if some people are willing to hide it. All these people thought that they were bulletproof….
Burch-McMahan, a fan of McNair, said she was at first disheartened at the circumstances of McNair’s death, but she considers him a kind and generous person and doesn’t want to judge him now.
“Maybe losing an icon like Steve means we are being asked to re-evaluate what we will accept and expect from relationships, and be conscious of the pain and destructiveness that infidelity causes,” she said.
Sound a lot like Joey, doesn’t it?

The smile seems forced, but i bet he loves his job!

Hobbs could not be reached Tuesday. A reporter spoke with her in July at the West End condo, but she said she didn’t know McNair and she had no comment.
Her friend Valerie Skelton identified herself as White’s girlfriend and said she herself lived in the condo. She said she had moved in a few months before McNair’s death. Skelton also did not return a phone call or e-mail Tuesday.

Valerie on the left, Adrienne on the right
Steve, please tell me (through a dream or however the dead contact the living) that you were not smashing either of these two women. I am hoping that it really was your cousin, his girl and her friend…
Gary Rubenstein, the attorney representing Gianikas Property Management, said mail had been coming in Hobbs’ name, and Skelton applied to be added to the lease nine days after McNair’s death. Rubenstein wasn’t sure who was living there.
Because White was the primary lessee, the company intends to pursue payment from him. But they still filed a claim against McNair’s estate because there is only a limited amount of time to do so, Rubenstein said.
Sharks smell blood in the water. You are going after the dead for your money? Let the man rest.
He said he has been in touch with White’s attorney and any payment they get from White will be deducted from their claim against McNair.
Rose Palermo, who represents Mechelle McNair in the probate case, said she has no information about the claim and can’t comment. Steve McNair did not leave a will.
American Express also has filed a claim against his estate for $44,000, and Magee General Hospital in Mississippi has filed for about $287.
Crime case officially isn’t closed
Though Metro investigators ruled the deaths of McNair and Kazemi a murder-suicide on July 8, they have not officially closed the case or made the case file public. It’s unlikely they will do so until the conclusion of the federal case against the man who sold Kazemi the gun, Aaron said.
Adrian Gilliam Jr. has been charged with being a felon in possession of a handgun after the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms traced the gun that killed the pair back to him. He told Metro police he sold Kazemi the gun for $100.
“The Metro Police Department’s investigation is parallel with the investigation by the federal authorities,” Aaron said. “In fact our officers have been very much involved in the federal case as well as the murder-suicide investigation. As far as the very thick case file, I suspect that is going to be not made public until the federal matter is resolved.”
I still feel sorry for the poor sap who thought he was doing some woman a favor by getting here a gun for protection and not he is caught up too…

Maybe this is the way to bring a championship to CLE....
When you have nothing to say, sometimes you grab for anything. In being interviewed, LeBron called Braylon Edwards childish for allegedly hitting a friend of his.
BEREA, Ohio (AP)—LeBron James called Browns receiver Braylon Edwards(notes) “childish” for allegedly punching James’ friend early Monday morning outside of a Cleveland night club.
James said Edwards punched Edward Givens, a friend of James’ and a promoter with a Cleveland marketing firm who was working outside the club around 2:30 a.m. EDT.

The world does not revolve around you Lebron. In fact a lot of people just don't care and are not jealous of you.
“I’ve never crossed paths with Braylon before, but it seems like there’s a little jealousy going on with Braylon and me and my friends. I have no idea why,” James said. “I’ve never said anything to Braylon at all. But for him to do that is very childish. My friend is 130 pounds. Seriously. It’s like hitting one of my kids. It doesn’t make sense.”
James says he was home when the fight occurred, but got a call from Givens telling him about it at 7 a.m. Monday.
LeBron, it sounds like this dude is one of your kids. Why is he calling you that early in the morning to talk about what happened at the club? Did he stay out past his curfew? It makes sense if dude was talking slick. He is old enough to be responsible for what he says.
This reminds me of what happened to Erik when he went to the CAL game this weekend. (To make a long story short, this old dude thought that he could check Erik with repercussions. He was wrong … E almost had to beat an old dude down in front of his father.) Bottom line, if someone puts his hands on you, or says something slick, then all bets are off.

maybe less time on the sidekick and more time watching where you are going would have prevented you from getting smacked up....this is a promotional picture of the firm that LBJ's friend works at. Not sure which he is, but he got bruised up!
Browns coach Eric Mangini said he has spoken with Braylon Edwards about the alleged fight.
I wonder what Coach said….I would have said something like, “Where was that fight during the game, since we lost and you didn’t catch a single pass, even though Anderson threw for 269 yards?”
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that a 28-year-old man accused Edwards of punching him in the face following an argument. The man said Edwards hit him with a closed fist. He said he suffered a black eye and cut and was treated at a hospital.
Why is this part news? Did he expect to be hit with an open fist in a slapping motion?

he does look pretty satisfied.....
Mangini said he was aware of the incident. He added his players’ personal conduct is important and that he was still gathering information on the incident.
Edwards did not catch a pass in Sunday’s 23-20 overtime loss to Cincinnati. It was the first time in 62 career games Edwards did not have at least one reception.
