It seems like a normal portrait picture, even with the portrait in the background of some children playing in a music recital. You would think that this could be a picture of your grandparents (if you were Austrian and white) commemorating their 50th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, this is where the story takes a horrible turn…
You see, Josef Fritzl is an animal. Not in the biological sense that we are animals, (like Meth and Red in the Da Rockwilder)
because we are, but this dude should be taken out back and shot summarily like Old Yeller.
(except I wouldn’t cry at this one like the boy does in the movie, I would jump for glee that one more sick bastard was eliminated from the planet. Old Yeller was tight and was the ultimate protector, which any father should be for his child.)
Josef Fritzl was the 73 year old who kept one of his daughters as a prisoner in the basement of his house for 24 years. This enough would win him “Worst Father of the Year” but he decided that he wanted to shoot for “Worst Father of the Millennium”. He won the award in a unanimous vote when he decided that he should rape his daughter and have kids with her. He blames Hitler…
THE HITLER LEGACY
Born in 1935 in the shadow of Nazi Germany and 90 miles from the childhood home of Adolf Hitler, much has been speculated about the influence of the Third Reich on Fritzl. He was three when Hitler paraded through Amstetten days after the Nazis annexed the country, to the delight of many Austrians.
During the war, an extension of the notorious Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp was built in the town. Fritzl admitted: “I grew up in the Nazi times, and that meant the need for people to be controlled and to have respect for authority.
“I suppose I took on some of these old values in. It was all subconscious, of course. Yet despite that I am not the monster that I am portrayed as in the media.”
Of course, lets blame the media for all the problems. I am glad that rap music was not around during this time period, or it would have gotten its fair share of the blame as well.
Brief aside, the woman on the left is C. Dolores Tucker. She is a relatively interesting woman that I would normally be down for. She marched with Dr. King to fight out against the injustices faced by African Americans and she was huge in helping various pushes for education. She lost me on the fight against rap music and the need for more regulation. It is clear to me that her crusade was an unsuccessful one in the fight against rap music. She is put on blast by everyone from Jay-Z, Tupac and the Game, just to mention a few that feel to call her out by name.
The next picture is a picture of the man who created the internet and his family. On the left is Al Gore, followed by his wife Tipper and Al Gore Jr. Tipper Gore co-founded the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) in 1985 (with Susan Baker, who I will get to in a minute) as a response to her daughter listening to Darling Nikki by Prince. Maybe Tipper should have spent less time trying to be the parent of all kids and just try to be a parent to her OWN kids and maybe things like this would not happen.

He was also popped another time for drunk driving in Virginia and has caught with weed one more time, so it is clear that he has a problem with the drugs.
In addition, your program just didn’t work, in fact in insured the opposite would happen. Even though the PMRC was meant to do damage to record sales of the artist who made the songs with explicit lyrics, Bret Michaels of Poison, Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe, and Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot all stated on Vh1’s “Heavy: The Story of Metal” that the PMRC was one of the best things to happen to rock music since it almost guaranteed that disgruntled children would buy the record in question as a way to rebel against their strict parents.
I wonder if this was the reason that your son turned to drugs. Maybe… Susan Baker, more time with your husband and less time worrying about what I am listening to might lead to you talking to your husband about his failed Iraq policy or the other missteps he has taken as a political figure, like overseeing the recount that insured that your friend and co-founders husband would not win the 2000 presidential election. Thanks for leading the charge to stop the recount to insure that we would have 8 years of W! But, I digress from the topic at hand…
Never forget that the monster exists. Josef Fritzl has no real excuse for the crimes against humanity that he perpetrated. That he would attempt to justify or blame others for his sheer acts of violence is laughable at best. He says that he waited to have sex with his daughter Elizabeth until she reached of age. He calls youthful sex offenders monsters… That is clearly a case of the pot calling the kettle black. If you look at his answers to the police, you can see that he is not crazy.
So in August 1984 when she was 18, he locked her in a tiny cellar room. In sickening detail, he spoke of what he claims was his first sexual encounter with his daughter, then 19.
He said: “My desire to have sex with Elisabeth also got much stronger as time went by. We first had sex in spring 1985. I could not control myself any more.”
He said she did not fight back but that she cried quietly, making small whimpering noises. “I knew that Elisabeth did not want it, what I did with her. The urge to taste forbidden fruit was just too strong.”
He clearly understood what he was doing was wrong, but he didn’t control those urges.
I am going to make sure from now on that I get some nice things for my father for Father’s Day. I know I have forgotten the holidays some, and not given the tightest gifts other times, but I am going to work on that and make a pledge to do better…
